Joe Landini directs a new performance installation called sanctuary (IT WILL BE LOUD) featuring percussionist Joe Rayhbuck, videographer Mark McBeth and a cast of eight dancer/collaborators. 

sanctuary (IT WILL BE LOUD) will incorporate elements of physical theatre and contemporary performance, shaped by Landini, who will use lighting, video and sound to create a 40 minute event that will physiologically challenge audiences. sanctuary (IT WILL LOUD)

In recent years Landini has created a series of full length movement installations, including Bitter Queen (The Garage, 2014) and led to the letting loose of everything (ODC Theater, 2015). sanctuary (IT WILL BE LOUD) is a continuation of these larger, performative installations that incorporate somatics and physical-theatre to create immersive environments for audiences to experience.
